1 Weird Way I Grew My Chest

So I’ve been working out for a while now and I’ve seen a lot of stuff. Pretty much everything you can think of such as steroid use and people dropping the bar. But there was one weird thing that happened to me.

You see, I became ill and was out of the gym for a while but I noticed my chest kept growing. Weird, right? You see, I work on my chest quite a lot, in fact, chest day is my favourite day and I love bench pressing. I make sure to bench at least once a week. Me and my friend compete to see who can bench more.

So I’m feeling a lot of soreness in my chest every week. I know for a fact I’ve gone in and completely killed my chest. But I think my chest grew because it finally got the rest it always needed. I was making a big mistake by constantly working my chest and too hard.

Not giving it the rest it need. After about my 2 - 3 week rest, my chest looked bigger, felt fuller and I was stronger. I applied this to my arms and guess what? My biceps grew!

My biceps grew and overall, my arms got stronger. This included both my biceps and triceps. I would highly recommend people who are going to the gym and want to get stronger to take a break for at least 2 weeks. Keep eating well but hold back on the training to see how strong you become. Of course this only applies to people who train everyday. Your body need a rest.

More about why resting is so important here.

No Pecs, No S*x

The pectoral muscles are a must if you want an aesthetic physique. They really are a beautiful piece of meat on your body. I personally had a completely flat chest but after 3 months, I grew it by a pretty decent amount.

No, I didn’t look like Arnold but I definitely put on some noticeable thickness, size and even width. The pectoral muscles are definitely something that girls admire. It’s something extremely important if you’re looking to create a stunning physique. If you’ve gone to the gym and grown all your muscles well except from your chest, you’ve clearly done something wrong and made a big mistake.

Here are some of my recommended chest exercises to really grow your chest:

Bench press

We can’t talk about chest exercises without mentioning the bench press. The bench press is a compound exercise and will definitely help your chest grow.

Cables

The cables are an incredible way to increase the width of your chest. If you’ve got a chest the pops out but has no width, then I’m sorry to say but you haven't got a very aesthetic looking chest.
Incline chest press

The incline chest press is going to help you work the top of your chest. If you’re constantly working the bottom of your chest, you’re going to end up with a sagging chest which is definitely not a very aesthetic look.

Why Zyzz was my Favourite Bodybuilder of all time

Zyzz was an amature bodybuilder that revived aesthetic bodybuilding. You see, when people think of bodybuilding, they think of guys with gigantic, hulking muscles that have no proportion and a giant belly but somehow still have a six pack.

When Zyzz was in the spotlight, it really inspired a lot of people to get in shape and look good. The nasty bubble gut wasn’t as popular. Zyzz tragically passed in 2011, he had a heart attack. He did at the age of 22. But his legacy still lives on.

He inspired millions including myself to get into the gym and workout. He also discouraged the use of drugs. Zyzz was never recorded directly speaking out against drugs but it was well known that he used them.

And when he died, this really discourage people from touching drugs. Even though Zyzz used steroids, we could still respect him.

WHY?

Because he never hid his steroid use. In fact, he showed it off online. He didn’t have to put on an act to please sponsors. With that said, Zyzz worked out and dieted really hard. Even though he used roids, you can’t get that physique without a lot of dedication.

Sure, Zyzz didn't have the greatest body of all time but...

Zyzz inspired me to workout and overall, live a healthier and happier lifestyle.
